In the dialect of south of Iran plateau, “Gagerive” is means of “whimper”, and “Merkava” is the name of kind of “panzer”. But what is “Gagerive for Merkava”? why somebody should “cry” for a “tool” – specially a lethal tool? Palms are moaning, kids are escaping, women are dreading, and there are no men in town. Everybody has gone.
The Black Gold is an integral element of the black contemporary history of south. Those days, oil was an equivalence of power and today is a symbol of war. Ant the war is means instability. It burns and being burned. Make war and give peace. Make live and take death.
War is the most fair of human collision. When it happens, have the same effect for all. Whenever a bullet fires, there is no difference between a palm and a man. Bullet chooses that to be with you and go to the history or be far away and after its wave, a continual whisper – that deathlike silence post whistle – stays with you forever. Just as same as a headless palm, or other palm that remain with head and has a dream of fruit.
It depends that you are on which “Paykan”. The one that attaches to the bomb, or other one on the back, and lead with something else, forever. Both are driving for the same reason, just a little beat quietness.
“Gagerive for Merkava” is a visual monody.
Listen, you can hear the yell of palms… from the red soil.
